The 2020 season got off to a great start with an appearance at the always-popular Akron Home and Garden Show. Akron attendees were the first to see a new line-up of products that features new robots, great gizmos, and other life-changing products for the home.
The festivities started with a Thursday morning appearance on a New Day Cleveland. Viewers got a sneak peak at several new robots — Tertill, which weeds the garden; Rotimatic, which makes fabulous flatbreads; and FoodCycler, which turns food waste into garden compost in a few hours. Aibo, Sony’s robotic dog, came along for entertainment value.
The interactive Life-Changing Products exhibit was the first thing attendees saw when they entered the exhibit hall. Show-goers got to sort through recycled countertop samples, activate a new home automation system, Hubitat, that works independent of the cloud, and examine wall cut-aways that demonstrate the latest in hurricane hardware.
