I’m not sure what was more difficult — writing a 250-page book with plenty of technical material — or building show homes for 15 years. Mary Umberger, writing about The New New Home in the Chicago Tribune hit the nail on the head, though, when she called me a glutton for punishment.
Speaking of punishment, the article is no longer available on the Tribune website. When the paper switched web systems, it was apparently left on the digital cutting room floor. Thankfully, a publicist sent me a copy of the article.
